Sheet Metal Drafter / 3D BIM Coordinator
Drafting & BIM • Full-Time • Copiague, NY (on-site)
Seabreeze is hiring a commercial sheet metal drafter proficient in PractiCAD. You will produce fabrication-ready ductwork shop drawings, develop fittings and layouts from mechanical plans, coordinate with the estimating and project management teams, and support drawing submissions from bid through fabrication release.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PractiCAD required
- AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical construction documents
- Commercial HVAC or sheet metal ductwork background preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Sheet Metal Mechanic (Local 28)
Field • Full-Time • New York City jobsites
Seabreeze is seeking experienced SMART Local 28 sheet metal mechanics for commercial HVAC ductwork installation on active NYC projects. Work includes ductwork hanging and assembly in high-rise commercial buildings, tenant fit-outs, and new construction sites across Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs.
Requirements
- SMART Local 28 member in good standing required
- Commercial ductwork installation experience
- Able to work in occupied high-rise environments
- OSHA 10 minimum (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Strong coordination with other trade crews
Sheet Metal Foreman (Local 28)
Field Leadership • Full-Time • New York City jobsites
Seabreeze is hiring a foreman to lead field crews on commercial HVAC ductwork projects in New York City. The foreman is responsible for reading coordinated drawings, directing the installation crew, managing material flow on the floor, communicating field conditions to the PM team, and maintaining the project schedule.
Requirements
- SMART Local 28 journeyman or foreman in good standing
- Minimum 5 years commercial sheet metal installation experience
- Experience leading field crews in NYC high-rise environments
- Ability to read coordinated BIM-derived drawings
- Strong communication with PMs, GC superintendents, and other trades
Project Estimator
Estimating • Full-Time • Copiague, NY (on-site)
Seabreeze is hiring a commercial sheet metal estimator to price HVAC ductwork scopes for NYC mechanical contractors and construction managers. You will review bid documents, perform material and labor takeoffs, build out estimates in our pricing system, and coordinate with project management on scope clarification and bid strategy.
Requirements
- Experience estimating commercial sheet metal or HVAC ductwork required
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical construction documents and specifications
- Familiarity with NYC commercial construction market preferred
- Strong math, attention to detail, and ability to work to bid deadlines
- PractiCAD, Bluebeam, or similar takeoff software experience a plus
Office Administrator
Administration • Full-Time • Copiague, NY (on-site)
Seabreeze is looking for an organized, reliable office administrator to support day-to-day operations at our Copiague headquarters. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, coordinating with vendors and clients, supporting project documentation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and keeping the office running efficiently.
Requirements
- Prior office administration or operations experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a construction or trades environment
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience a plus
